The Chandler variety produces nuts of the highest quality. The nuts of the Chandler are distinguished by their large size, thin shell and light-colored kernel. Chandler walnuts have a weight of 13 grams. The size of Chandler walnut is about 4 cm and it has a smooth shape. Chandler's shell is strong, it is not easy for birds and insects to break or damage it. But at the same time, the Chandler walnut shell is easily broken by hand, the kernel of such a nut is easier to get out of the shell, and the nut itself splits into two halves more easily. Inside the walnut shell, Chandler has an excellent kernel quality. Chandler's core color is excellent and its internal whiteness is 90% or better. The weight of the Chandler core is about 6.5 grams. This means that the kernel is 50% of the walnut shell. The percentage of oil in the kernel is 70%, and this ratio gives excellent taste. Nuts are very rich in vitamins, minerals and unsaturated fatty acids. Nuts include more than ten types of phenolic acids, tannins and flavonoids. All these elements are necessary for the proper functioning of the digestive system. Another feature of walnuts is nutritional value, which at the same time does not cause obesity, despite the large amount of fat in the composition. It is the polyunsaturated fats of these nuts that are very useful for blood vessels, which cannot be said about any other variety.
